Woa! This book had me on the edge of my seat from page one. I seriously couldn’t put it down. There is so much going on and it will pull your emotions all over the place. The characters had me intrigued me from the very beginning and the mysterious, sexy, and emotional story line had me riveted on my tablet.
Colton and Carly were together back in high school and when some bad stuff goes down, there’s consequences. Now 7 years later, Carly is back and Colton is determined to set everything right. Of course right when all this is being figured out, Lucas enters the picture. He’s someone Carly hasn’t seen in an even longer time than Colton but they instantly strike up a friendship. All 3 of these people have gone through some hard issues and are trying to heal. I’m a fan of both men so this little triangle of sorts is even more difficult to pick sides. These characters pulled at me and drew me into their lives. I was easily immersed in their world.
Silla Webb knows how to do the shock and awe. I’m eagerly awaiting for book 2 so I can see what is going to happen with everything. I’m just itching to get my hands on it! The story flowed really well and I easily read the book in a few hours. I highly suggest picking up this book and getting lost in the passion, lust, longing, love, mystery, and much more that is Covered in Coal! 5 out of 5 palm trees!!!
