I think I liked this book better than Him mostly due to the fact that I got a little more info from where things left off with that one. The characters were written wonderfully and the story seemed more complete after I finished. There were lots of moments that as I was reading I felt like all the little questions I had while reading the first book were being answered.
I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see how Will reacted to every situation. The thoughts and heartbreak that he goes through was painful to read about. I felt sorry for him and I really liked being able to get Will’s side to everything. It made the story feel more complete to me. Sarah kind of annoyed me at first with how easily she ran away but I could also see where she was coming from. Despite all the misunderstandings and angst that happens it’s obvious they are meant for each other.
I really enjoyed the characters in this one. Some of the secondary characters that don’t get much attention in the first book have a little more involvement in the second book and I feel like it added to Sarah and Will’s world. The story felt authentic and I was easily engrossed from the very beginning. I highly recommend this book (after reading Him of course). I think this is an awesome 5 out 5 books!
