L’amore
The Luminara Series, #2
By S.J. Molloy
This is the ultimate romantic love story. This is the most tragic love story.
A life of Love. A life with Love. His Love.
The Love ~ L’amore.
File I for intense. Lexi and Lucca’s relationship is so intense and all-consuming, they barely have time to catch their breath.
Following her passionate, whirlwind romance in Tuscany, Lexi has finally learned how to trust, finding true love and happiness with Lucca Caruso.
File E for earth-shattering. Lexi is about to experience the sexiest, earth-shattering eroticism with her insatiable Italian God, Lucca.
Lucca builds Lexi’s confidence and encourages her to lose her inhibitions with his ‘ask-get’ approach. He teaches her to ask for the desires that she lusts for, and he’s all too willing to give her his sexual gifts of the day.
They have no boundaries.
They have each other.
They live for one another.
File T for timeless. Their love transcends time. He is her always. She is his forever.
Lucca promises to love, cherish, support, and protect his dolcezza. Recent discoveries leave Lexi feeling anxious and uncertain, until Lucca indulges her in romance, adoration, and tender loving care. They plan for their future and everything appears to be getting brighter.
Until darkness prevails …
The tormentor of her dreams.
The devil in disguise.
The uprising of Michael Parks.
Michael has unfinished business, and his resurrection will rewrite Lexi and Lucca’s destiny forever. He wants revenge and will stop at nothing until he has it. Dark black was the colour of her life … and is the colour of her afterlife.
Alexis Evangeline Robertson is going straight to Hell.
After the desires of lust …
And the sweetness of love …
And the flicker of light …
Fate has brought Lucca and Lexi together. Can fate take L’amore away?
Whew! S.J. Molloy really knows how to get the emotions rolling and the blood pumping! This was a great 2nd book in the Luminara series. Full of love, passion, anger, misunderstanding, fear, suspense, and so much more. I think I chewed my lips raw from biting them constantly while reading this book. I was hooked from the opening words and found it very hard to put my tablet down long enough to anything around the house.
Lucca and Lexi are at it again and they are hot, hot, hot! There are a LOT of seriously steaming scenes happing in this book but also plenty of sweet and romantic moments between them as well. They are both learning how to be in a relationship and trust each other. They have new situations being thrown at them and they have to do their best to deal with them. I really admire the growth they show in this book, especially Lexi. Their friends and family are really great as well.
This story will definitely keep you on your toes and have you begging for more from Lucca and Lexi. I know I can’t wait for the next book in the series. The story telling is a little different for those of us in the US but I personally didn’t let it deter me from my favorable impression of the series. It’s an intense story and I’m eager to see how things will go from here. 4 out of 5 books!
SJ Molloy, first time British Author of ‘The Luminara Series’ was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a young child, her family moved and raised her in Lanarkshire, Scotland where she currently resides with her husband, two daughters and her energetic, hyperactive loving gun dog who is utterly spoiled.
SJ is a qualified Fitness Instructor and Health & Fitness Motivator of various fitness styles and disciplines. Music and dance aerobics have always been a pleasure and passion for her. SJ will sporadically make up dance style routines at any hour of the day when a move comes to her or piece of music moves or inspires her. Currently not teaching classes, she is focusing her time into nurturing her yearning passion for creative writing, exchanging one visualisation for another.
As a child, SJ loved to write in journals and make up short stories and has a flare for all things creative. With an overactive imagination at times, SJ adores to make notes, visualise scenes and settings to create characterisations.
While on holiday with her family one summer reading book after book, she had a flash of inspiration and has had various ideas whirling around in her mind ever since. It was not until she pulled back on teaching classes that she found the courage, time and insight into actually bringing these ideas to life.
In February 2013 she decided to bring that imagination to light by beginning her writing journey with ‘Lussuria’ the first instalment in ‘The Luminara Series’ available from late October 2013.
Being a self-confessed book junkie, she loves nothing better than to get lost in an emotional and moving book. A true romantic at heart, her guilty pleasure is reading heart-warming, passionate stories and falling in love with her favourite fictional characters.
With seven books already mapped out in ‘The Luminara Series’, SJ’s busy creative mind has already planned two more fictitious novels, both stand-alone romance books and very different in their own right.
When she is not writing or reading, spending time with family and friends or exercising and walking her dog, SJ loves all things practical and creative. Dancing, music, cooking, travelling, good food and wine and painting are her favourite past times along with laughter, lots and lots of laughter.
I love you, I love you so much. I love everything you do for me, Lucca, but especially this.” I place my hand on his heart and stare at him with nothing but love.
Smiling, he cups my ass. “Do you feel better? I do not want this phone call to affect our relationship.”
Wrapping my arms around his neck, I entwine my fingers in his hair and tilt my head against his cheek. “It won’t, I promise. She’ll calm down, and I know when she meets you she’ll fall in love with you. It’s just that I said some pretty horrible things to her, but I didn’t mean any of it and now I feel guilty.”
“You were angry. You can apologise, and we will spend as much time with her as possible on our visit. She can even come here and stay with us for as long as you want.” He thrusts his evident erection against me and grips my ass, lifting my leg up to hang around his hips.
“You would do that for me? It wouldn’t be easy, and it might be a strain on us.”
“It will only be a strain if you let it. We will work it out. She will need to learn to trust me, then I am sure she will give us her blessing. Now, can I slide those tight, cock teasing jeans off your ass and down those luscious, long legs?”
I giggle. “You can’t. Hazel is downstairs waiting on me.”
He lifts my other leg up around his waist, holds one hand in my hair, and carries me to the bed, laying me down. He steps back, looking down at me with hunger in his eyes. I’m devouring his greed and lust because I want him so desperately, especially after he helps me reason and think straight. I’m gone.
Folded, crumbled, and melted.
I stretch my hand to his chest, clenching his top, then pull him down on top of me.
“Since you have asked, you are getting,” he growls sexily. He takes my T-shirt off and unbuttons my jeans in a flash, then in quick time has my bra and panties off. I’m stripped and naked for him again. He walks away, leaving me on the bed.
“Well, don’t just leave me like this,” I moan.
He returns from the dressing room with my diamond jewellery. “I love seeing you naked, but I also love to see this sparkle on you, so will you put these back on for me?” He leans over, teasing my nipple with his tongue.
He has never told me about the experience that incited his obsession with diamonds. In Tuscany all he told me was that they saved his life and that they remind him he’s alive, and then something cryptic about thinking I’m angelic and by wearing them it makes him feel alive and he wants to give me light. I know if he wanted to tell me more, he would. I respect that we both share things that we find hard to talk about. I do think his obsession for extravagant gems is excessive but he sees it as light as opposed to the value of the stone.
“You don’t play fair,” I protest seductively.
My naked body and jewels make sparkly love to my Italian God.
