Man I know I’ve said before that I love this series but it’s worth repeating. I LOVE THIS SERIES!!! I received Slade to review for this post when it became live and instantly started it. Of course I devoured it in a few hours. I’ve actually been waiting for this story for a while and was so excited to get it. I loved every word of this book and it more than met my expectations.
Slade and Jill have this chemistry and despite Slade’s attempts to keep Jill at a distance, they couldn’t stay away from each other. I loved seeing all of Jill’s work come to fruition. She has worked so hard and not only dealt with outside prejudices but also ones from her family and other VC Warriors. Well she sure showed them who and what she was and Slade was right there to show her support. The passion they share is intense and they had some very hot scenes together. There was also a lot of humorous moments that had me laughing.
Another fantastic story from Teresa Gabelman! I have loved this series from the beginning and can’t wait for more. Every book in the series has brought a strong story line with wonderful characters while also feeding into the overall story arc of the series. This lasted book is no exception. I am looking forward to re-reading the whole series once it is complete. I am eagerly anticipating the next book. 5 out of 5 palm trees!
