Permanent is the first book in the Indelibly Marked Series that follows the lives and loves of those surrounding Permanent Tattoo.
This was a fantastic read! The witty sarcasm shown by Shane and his family/friends had me cracking up. Yet there was a little drama, romance and sexy moments. I enjoyed the characters and the story kept me glued to my tablet.
Shane and Lindsay are like total opposites on the surface but they seem to react to distressful situations the exact same. Shane is a sexy, extremely talented, and famous tattoo artist that starts out in desperate need of an accountant (Lindsay’s profession). Lindsay is shy, somewhat OCD, and determined to make it on her own. As the story progressed, I enjoyed watching the characters evolve and mature as the story progressed. I loved all of the supporting characters. They had a lot of Shane’s sarcastic humor and it was hilarious at times. However, it was obvious that they had a wonderful bond.
The story line was well written and it all flowed very smoothly. I was immediately drawn in, especially by Shane’s charismatic personality. I have a soft spot for tattoo artist characters and this was no exception. I will definitely be reading book 2 and can’t wait to get my hands on it. Don’t miss out on Lindsay, Shane, Carson, Emily, and Ivan (okay….and Dillon even though I don’t like him). This is an absolute 5 out of 5 books!
