My first thought when I finished this book was “I’m expected to wait until November for the next installment?!” This book was sexy, fast paced, emotional, and full of secrets. I read it in just an evening because I couldn’t put it down until I was done with the whole book.

Damien and Raelyn are two people that are meant for each other. Even though they have many opposites in their interests, they compliment each other really well. They heal each other’s souls and ground one another. Damien is tall, sexy, tattooed, and a total alpha male. He likes control in everything and has physical and emotional scars that he’s dealing with from his past. Raelyn is healing and has overcome a huge hurdle. She’s terrified of being emotionally left alone and has put up walls that Damien is determined to break down. I absolutely loved these two. They both have their faults but it makes them feel all the more real.

This story line was well laid out and flowed smoothly. I loved the characters and can’t wait to read about them in the next book in the series. They pulled me into their world and I was not ready to leave when the book ended. This is one series I can’t wait to continue. 5 out of 5 palm trees!!
