I actually ran the battery down on my e-reader because I didn’t want to interrupt my reading to put it on the charger. Mike and Jenny have a connection from their first encounter but Mike keeps Jenny in the friend zone for quite a while in the beginning. He sexy and sweet but he’s also bossy and gruff. He hides his past which are the cause of his insecurities and less then stellar self-worth. However, Jenny’s sweet disposition, conviction, and loyalty help Mike to come out of that darkness he’s been living in. She really is an awesome person and helps that good side of Mike to shine through as well. He’s helped Jenny to come out of her shell and become more confident in herself.
